A twenty-two year old Welsh web designer has been sentenced to two years in prison for creating and distributing computer viruses. Simon Vallor was tracked down by Scotland Yard's computer crime unit and the FBI after he bragged about his viruses on an Internet message board. Vallor created three viruses: GoKar, Redesi-B and Admirer. The viruses came in the form of ordinary emails but were tremendously damaging. For example, the Redesi-B virus professed to be a security update from a software company, once the user opened the application the virus was planted and within a period of time could delete everything from the computer's hard disk. When questioned, Vallor said that his motivation was simply to see if he could do it. For details, visit: http://makeashorterlink.com/?O3FF45F33
