Cisco Systems is installing Aironet wireless LANs into 19 airport lounges across Europe. This service is aimed at business travelers with laptops or PDAs containing wireless cards. As European airports go wireless, the Greater Toronto Airport Authority (GTAA) cuts the power to the facilities operated by the major cell phone carriers needed to provide cell phone service in the airport area over the parties' dispute over lease renewals.
