The U.S. General Accounting Office (GAO) recently released a report on online gambling. The report examines existing laws on Internet gambling at the federal level and in the five states of Massachusetts, Nevada, New Jersey, New York and Utah. The report also looks at the credit card industry and its role in online gambling and the effect of prohibiting the use of credit cards for Internet gambling.
