Gord Jepson is a partner of the firm. He practises regulatory and intellectual property law, with a focus on food, nutraceutical, drug and other regulatory issues, as well as related litigation.

Practice Areas
Gord’s practice includes advising on regulatory and advertising clearance for drugs, medical devices, foods, cosmetics, dietary supplements and natural health products. He also advises on the legal requirements for advertising and contests concerning all types of products in Canada. He practises patent, trade-mark and industrial design drafting and prosecution. He appears before the Federal Court of Canada in matters arising from these areas of law.
Seminars and Publications
Gord has written and spoken on many regulatory, intellectual property and technology issues, especially product labelling. He is a Fellow of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada, a member of the Editorial Advisory Board for the Food and Drug Law Journal and the Chairman of the Board of Editors of the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society’s RAPS Focus magazine.

Credentials
Gord received his undergraduate degree from the Royal Military College of Canada in 1986. After four years of overseas military service, he went on to obtain a Masters in English from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, in 1991 and an LL.B. from the University of Windsor in 1994.
He was called to the Ontario Bar in 1996, and is a registered trade-mark agent.
