On March 31, 2026, M. Imtiaz Karamat will co-chair the “Privacy Law Basics” program hosted by the OBA Privacy & Access to Information Law Section and Young Lawyers Division.

Imtiaz will join a faculty of privacy experts in this half-day program aimed at educating lawyers in all fields on key topics in privacy law. Among other things, program sessions will address current privacy law frameworks; drafting considerations for agreements; emerging issues in the privacy space; and guidance for developing a successful privacy practice.
