On October 8, 2026, Imtiaz Karamat will co-chair the Ontario Bar Association’s annual Privacy Law Summit with Warren Urquhart, Senior Privacy and Compliance Counsel of Toronto Hydro.

The annual Privacy Law Summit brings together leading privacy practitioners to share key insights and practical strategies aimed at managing evolving risks and obligations in privacy law.

This year’s summit will feature keynotes from the Privacy Commissioner of Canada and Ontario’s Information and Privacy Commissioner, along with timely educational sessions on pressing privacy issues. Among these is a session on the evolving children’s privacy landscape in North America, which will be moderated by Imtiaz.
