On February 17, 2026, M. Imtiaz Karamat will speak at Session 5 of the “Call Forward: A Series on the Transition-to-Practice for Students-at-Law” webcast program titled “Transactional Work Essentials” hosted by the OBA Young Lawyers Division Program.

Imtiaz will join Tomiwa Ogundipe (Border Ladner Gervais LLP) and Francesca Lee (Border Ladner Gervais LLP) to advise on the early years of legal practice for lawyers focused on transactional files. The speakers will discuss the role of junior lawyers in transactional work, including considerations for due diligence matters, negotiations, and communicating with both clients and third parties.
