Industry Canada, in conjunction with its provincial counterparts, has issued a consultation paper on the possible harmonisation of jurisdictional issues surrounding E-commerce transactions. The paper provides a detailed review of the regional differences within Canada and Europe on this issue and discusses the implications of the Hague and Rome treaties.
