On April 28, 2026, Jennifer R. Davidson received the Ontario Bar Association’s 2026 Rising Star Award in Information Technology and Intellectual Property.
The award was presented to Jennifer by Yonida Koukio (Oziel Law) at an awards reception following the OBA's IT & IP Law Section annual Fireside Chat with Judges of the Federal Courts event, which featured The Honorable John B. Laskin, and Associate Judges Alexandra Steele and L.E. Trent Horne.
DWW Senior Counsel Richard Austin served as tribute speaker for the presentation of the award to Jennifer, speaking about her work as a thought leader and mentor to many in the Bar.
The Rising Star Award was established in 2022 by the OBA’s IT & IP Law Section to acknowledge exceptional members of the Section for their leadership, high standards of professional competence and contribution to the IT and IP bars.
