Anna Troshchynsky is an associate of the firm. She practises information technology and intellectual property law.

Practice Areas

Anna practices information technology and intellectual property law with a focus on technology contracting, privacy, access to information, cybersecurity and data protection. She advises clients on a variety of technology-related matters, including software development, licensing, SaaS, outsourcing, procurement and CASL. Anna also has experience in pharmaceutical regulatory law and litigation.

Anna holds a J.D., cum laude, from the University of Ottawa and a Master of Science degree in Biology from York University. During her legal studies, Anna interned at one of Canada’s leading e-commerce companies, where she worked closely with the in-house commercial legal team in the areas of information technology, privacy, and contract negotiation. As a graduate student, she focused on immunology studies and was awarded the Frederick Banting and Charles Best Canada Graduate Scholarship for her thesis in the area of antibody gene recombination.

Anna first joined DWW as a summer student in 2016 and completed her articles with the firm in 2019.
