Michelle Noonan is an associate of the firm. She practises intellectual property law and information technology law.
Michelle’s practice covers a range of intellectual property matters, including litigation involving trademarks, patents, and copyright. Michelle also advises clients on clearance, filing, prosecution, opposition and enforcement of intellectual property rights, with an emphasis on trademarks. She is a registered Canadian trademark agent.
During her legal studies, Michelle completed an area of concentration in intellectual property and served on the executive committee for the Western Intellectual Property Association. Michelle also interned with the business development office associated with Western University, where she assisted researchers in protecting and commercializing their discoveries.
Prior to attending law school, Michelle obtained her Master of Science in physiology and pharmacology. Her graduate research focused on a cell signalling pathway involved in breast cancer metastasis.
Michelle joined DWW as a summer student in 2017 and completed her articles with the firm in 2019.
