Steffi Tran is an associate of the firm. She practises in the areas of intellectual property law and information technology law.

Practice Areas

Steffi practises in various areas of intellectual property law and information technology law, including technology contracting, privacy, cybersecurity, and data protection. She also has experience in pharmaceutical patent litigation and trademark matters.

Throughout her studies, Steffi gained experience working at the Ministry of the Attorney General, various legal clinics serving low-income communities, and a Toronto-based start-up developing legal technology using machine learning and artificial intelligence. She received her J.D. from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, and her Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto, double majoring in Genetics/Ethics, Society & Law and minoring in Psychology.

Steffi joined DWW as a summer student in 2020 and completed her articles with the firm in 2022.
